As of 2 May 2018, the submission of applications for the issuance of authorisations for the planting of new vineyards begins, announced the Executive Agency on Vine and Wine (EAVW). The application period is set for 1 May - 29 June 2018. The total area for which authorisations may be granted under this call is 605.83 ha.
The authorisation regime for planting is regulated by Ordinance No. 9 of 26 May 2016 on the conditions and procedures for the issuance of authorisations for the planting of vineyards. Authorisations for new plantings are required for producers who wish to plant vineyards but do not have planting rights to convert or vine plantations to uproot and replant. The order for the application procedure, as well as templates of the documents under the procedure, are published on the website of the EAVW in the section „Applications".
The next application period for the issuance of authorisations for the planting of new vineyards will take place only during the period May-June 2019.
Pursuant to the legislation currently in force, planting under authorisations for the planting of new vineyards is not supported under the National Support Programme for the Wine Sector for the period 2014 – 2018.
