On 8 August issue 7/2017 of the journal „Plant Protection” will be released from print. The topic of the issue is once again soil-borne pathogens and the threat to the underground parts of plants. In this issue we will introduce you to the pests of the underground parts of vegetable crops, the pests of the underground parts of fruit crops, as well as the diseases of the underground parts of potatoes. In issue 7/2017 the emphasis in integrated weed control will be on leguminous crops in arable crop rotation.
Attention: Potato wart disease!
In recent years, the mass occurrence of the green stink bug in various regions of the country has caused concern among the population in the Burgas, Plovdiv, Shumen regions and other settlements. How well do you know the green stink bug?
In the „Biocontrol“ section we will devote special attention to the advantages of entomopathogenic nematodes as bioagents for pest control.
You will also find the monthly calendar for plant protection activities in fruit crops, vines and vegetables, prepared with great attention and care for the farmer by experts from the BFSA and from the Maritsa Vegetable Crops Research Institute in Plovdiv.
The topic of the biostimulant supplement, which is issued together with the print body of the journal – Inorganic biostimulants as alternative means for plant protection.
