Creation and cultivation of fruit gardens and preservation of old varieties

Two informational meetings, organized by the National Agricultural Advisory Service, will introduce participants to the creation and cultivation of fruit gardens and the preservation and protection of old varieties of fruit species.

Informational Meeting in Veliko Tarnovo

On March 29, 2017, a joint informational meeting-seminar will be held in the city of Veliko Tarnovo, organized by the NAAS (Territorial Regional Office - Veliko Tarnovo) and the Institute of Mountain Animal Husbandry and Agriculture (IMZHA) - Troyan.

At the seminar, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Stella Dimkova from IMZHA - Troyan, Dryanovo branch, will present to the guests the main elements of the technology for cultivating fruit trees, as well as the realization of production and efficient land use.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Stella Dimkova will acquaint the attendees with innovative fruit species and good practices in pruning fruit trees.

Experts from the Territorial Regional Office of NAAS - Veliko Tarnovo will explain to the seminar participants the possibilities for supporting agricultural producers under the measures of the Rural Development Program (RDP) 2014-2020.

The event will take place in Veliko Tarnovo, 23 "Nikola Gabrovski" St. (hall of the Regional Health Inspectorate, 1st floor).

Informational Meeting in Dryanovo

On April 04, a joint informational meeting-seminar will be held in the city of Dryanovo, organized by the NAAS (Territorial Regional Office - Gabrovo) and the Institute of Mountain Animal Husbandry and Agriculture (IMZHA) - Troyan.

At the seminar, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Stella Dimkova from IMZHA - Troyan will present to the participants an analysis and the state of the fruit-growing sector in the Gabrovo region, as well as the realization of production and types of markets.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Stella Dimkova will acquaint the guests with the types of technologies for cultivating fruit species and the preservation and protection of old varieties, as well as small-fruit species.

Experts from the Territorial Regional Office of NAAS - Gabrovo will explain to the farmers the possibilities for supporting agricultural producers under the measures of the Rural Development Program (RDP) 2014-2020.

The event will be held in Dryanovo, 19 "Bacho Kiro" St., the building of the Dryanovo Municipality (conference hall).
