The Management Board of the State Fund "Agriculture" has allocated a total of BGN 8.520 million under four state aid schemes that will be implemented this year. Guidelines for the implementation of the approved state aid schemes are to be drawn up. Financial aid is envisaged for combating the tomato leaf miner moth under the implementation of measures under the National Programme of Measures for the Control of the Tomato Leaf Miner Moth - Tuta absoluta Meyrick (Lepidoptera), as well as support to farmers under the scheme for quality of seed and planting material production in 2017.

Under the first scheme, BGN 5.500 million are provided for the establishment and maintenance of a herdbook and for determining the productivity and genetic qualities of animals.

By another decision of the Management Board of the State Fund "Agriculture", compensations are envisaged for farmers who have animals and beehives that have perished as a result of disasters. Support will be provided to those among them who are included in the register of issued statements of findings for destroyed beehives and bee colonies as a result of natural disasters in 2016, drawn up by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. The allocated financial resource for this measure is BGN 20,000.

The governing body of the Fund is providing BGN 1.500 million under the scheme "Aid to compensate the costs of agricultural producers related to the implementation of measures under the National Programme of Measures for the Control of the Tomato Leaf Miner Moth - Tuta absoluta Meyrick (Lepidoptera)."

The subsidies under the fourth state aid scheme will be directed to supporting farmers under the scheme for quality of seed and planting material production in 2017. A financial resource of BGN 1.500 million has also been approved under this scheme.
