Documents under the schemes for young farmers and for cotton are accepted until 1 December

By 1 December, applicants under the Young Farmers Scheme who are applying for participation for the first time, or farmers for whom there is a change, must submit documents proving acquired professional skills and knowledge in the field of agriculture, veterinary medicine and/or documents for economic education with an agricultural focus. All farmers who applied under the Scheme for Specific Payment for Cotton (Cotton) in Campaign 2016 must submit, by 1 December, a concluded contract for the purchase of the production they have produced.

Applicants under the Young Farmers Scheme (YFS) who are applying for participation for the first time, or applicants for whom there is a change in the circumstances, must also submit, by 1 December 2016, to the respective regional directorate of the Fund documents proving acquired professional skills and knowledge. Pursuant to the requirement of Article 15, paragraph 1 of Ordinance No 3, young farmers shall present documents for completed secondary and/or higher education in the field of agriculture or veterinary medicine and/or documents for economic education with an agricultural focus. Acquired professional skills and knowledge may also be proven by a certificate for a completed course of a minimum of 150 hours or a certificate for an obtained degree of professional qualification in the field of agriculture.

By 1 December 2016, farmers who applied under the Scheme for Specific Payment for Cotton (Cotton) in Campaign 2016 must submit to the respective regional directorate of the State Fund “Agriculture” a concluded contract for the purchase of the cotton production they have produced. This requirement is laid down in the provisions of Article 17, paragraph 2 of Ordinance No 3 on the conditions and procedures for the implementation of the direct payment schemes.

The Fund “Agriculture” reminds young farmers that documents issued by higher education institutions must be from accredited institutions. The submitted documents for a completed course must be issued by licensed vocational training centres. Documents for training carried out under Measure 111 are also admissible.
