State de minimis aid for vegetable producers is only 1 million leva.

2,189 are the registered farmers who have utilized the de minimis scheme

The state aid is provided only to registered agricultural producers to compensate for part of the costs of cultivating vegetable crops in 2015. The scheme supports greenhouse vegetable production (tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers) and field and garden production of tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, carrots, watermelons, melons, mature onions, and headed cabbage.

The budget for support under this scheme is only 1 million leva. The per-decare rates will be determined after reviewing the submitted applications, which this year number 2,198. The total amount of aid provided to a single farmer or the same enterprise under the de minimis scheme cannot exceed the lev equivalent of 15,000 euros over a period of three fiscal years (from 2013 to 2015).

The acceptance of applications for support for vegetable producers under the de minimis scheme concluded on December 10.
