In August begins the application process under the scheme for financial assistance to sunflower producers

From 9 to 22 August 2023 agricultural producers may apply for support under the scheme for emergency financial aid to agricultural producers growing sunflower. The application period is determined by an order of the Executive Director of the State Fund „Agriculture“ (SFA).

Support may be granted to agricultural producers who are natural persons, sole traders and legal entities, registered for 2022 and 2023, and whose sunflower areas were eligible for support for Campaign 2022 under the Single Area Payment Scheme.

By 30 September 2023 the State Fund „Agriculture“ will disburse the financial support to the eligible applicants after completion of all administrative checks. Applications for support will be accepted at the Regional Directorates of the State Fund „Agriculture“, Department „Implementation of Support Schemes and Measures“ (ISSM), according to the permanent address of the natural person or the registered office of the sole trader or legal entity.
