The specialized fruit-growing exhibition “Danube Fruit Growers“ 2018 will be held in Ruse. For a third consecutive year it succeeds in bringing together in one place both representatives of companies producing plant protection products, fertilizers and planting material, and companies engaged in agricultural machinery in the field of fruit growing, food industry, packaging and insurance of production.
So far, there have been guests and exhibitors not only from Bulgaria, but also from Turkey, Romania, Italy, England and others. This year new companies from Greece, the Netherlands, Serbia and Poland will also participate in the exhibition.
“Danube Fruit Growers“ 2018 will be held on 24 March 2018 in Arena Sports Hall - Ruse, address: Ruse, 1 Lipnik Blvd. The organizer of the event is the Union of Danube Fruit Growers*
Companies whose main activity is the production of planting material, plant protection products, fertilizers and plant nutrition, food industry – processing and canning, agricultural machinery in the field of fruit growing – machines, equipment, drip irrigation, services and information, including banking and insurance services, production of packaging, fuels and other related activities will take part in the exhibition.
Meetings with representatives of processors, retail chains and wholesalers are planned.

* The Union of Danube Fruit Growers is a non-profit association whose aim is the development of competitive fruit production in Bulgaria, mainly through training and the introduction of innovations in production and marketing, which are simultaneously in line with the principles of environmental protection and meet consumer requirements. As of today, the Union has about 350 members who are producers from the territories of the districts of Ruse, Silistra, Veliko Tarnovo, Targovishte, Razgrad, Shumen, Dobrich, Varna and Burgas, and their number is constantly increasing. The area of the plantations it covers is about 2,500 ha / 25,000 decares.
