Winners in the category “Fertilizers and Plant Protection Products” at AGRA 2018

In the category “Fertilisers and Plant Protection Products for Agriculture“ of the Innovation Competition of the International Agricultural Exhibition “AGRA“, the awards were presented to the company Summit Agro for the microgranulated fertilisers MICROSTAR, SUMISTART and UMOSTART, and to the company Panamin Agro Ltd. for the organic mineral foliar fertiliser PANAMIN AGRO

Microstar, Sumistart and Umostart are microgranulated fertilisers for local application during sowing. The company also offers its clients special devices for their application. Main advantages:

1. 1. The plants are supplied with available phosphorus in the most critical stages of development – germination, emergence and early growth.
   2. Additional costs are saved – fertilisation is carried out simultaneously with sowing.
   3. Reduced rates – the soil is protected from excessive fertilisation.
   4. The granules are in contact with the root system – the risk of fertiliser leaching and environmental pollution is eliminated.
   5. Targeted nutrition of the cultivated plant minimises the losses of nutrients that are extracted by competing weed vegetation.
   6. The crop potential is increased by 25% – the well-developed root system and the advanced development of the plants make it possible to achieve a maximum high yield.

Panamin Agro is an innovation of global significance – a mixture of rock flours obtained from natural minerals of Austrian origin for remineralisation of plants and soil through foliar feeding. Panamin Agro, a 100% organic mineral mix, is used in the form of a suspension. Its main components – calcium and magnesium carbonate – make it possible, through the released carbon dioxide, to enhance photosynthesis and to have a beneficial effect on the soil pH.

The presence of sufficient carbon dioxide leads to prolonged closing of the stomata, which reduces evaporation and water consumption, as well as the penetration of pathogens into the plant organism.
