Science and practice together at AGRA 2025

The business programme of AGRA 2025 brings together science and practice in a series of seminars, conferences, discussions, presentations and round tables.

Within the five fair days of the 33rd edition of AGRA, a series of information meetings will be held, dedicated to current trends, potential risks and international forecasts in the sector. They will involve representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, European experts, specialists from state agencies and structures, scientists from Bulgarian universities and institutes.

Among the topics of the business events are: climate challenges, soil health, smart agriculture and proven good practices in Bulgaria and in Europe.

Organic farming is in the focus of several panels, in which results will be presented, benefits will be discussed and solutions will be sought for adverse phenomena. Support for agricultural producers with appropriate financial instruments and advice for profitable farms will be presented by banking and insurance institutions.

Research projects and developments in the field of the food industry will be presented.

A separate panel discussion is dedicated to the risks from excessive use of plant protection products. Further presentations are planned on various methods and products for the conservation, regeneration and enrichment of soil. All halls of the Congress Centre are occupied with events from the business programme throughout the entire period of the mega-forum for agriculture.
