Bio Cream from the Rose Valley – Favorite in the Innovation Competition at Agra 2023

Within the framework of the International Agricultural Exhibition AGRA 2023, an Innovation Competition was held, organized by the Union of Inventors in Bulgaria. At this event, the Institute of Roses and Essential Oil Crops (IREMK) – Kazanlak, which is part of the structure of the Agricultural Academy, presented a new product – an organic face cream created by Chief Assistant Professor Dr. Silvia Mollova. Dr. Mollova has over 20 years of experience in the field of essential oils, perfumery and cosmetics, and for several years now she has been engaged in research activities. For her, the work is interesting and challenging, and the creation of new products brings her satisfaction. Her scientific interests are related to natural products and their application for a healthier lifestyle.

She has also participated in the development of other perfumery and cosmetic preparations, with her main objective being those with a natural, organic composition, created through a skilful combination of natural ingredients and essential oils.

Why should we use organic cosmetics?

With every passing day, the “Organic” concept is gaining more and more supporters. It is a striving for a healthier and higher-quality life. Sixty percent of what we put on our skin passes into the bloodstream. In organic cosmetics no chemicals or other harmful substances are used that can damage not only the skin but also our health.

The products of organic cosmetics are aimed at cleansing, toning and moisturizing the skin, nourishing it, as well as removing wrinkles in a natural way. Regular use of products made from natural vegetable oils preserves the natural water-lipid balance of the skin, which is necessary for its healthy condition.

All oils used in the production of the organic cream are of entirely natural composition and are easily absorbed by the skin, as it is fat-permeable rather than water-permeable.

Cocoa butter is an excellent means of protecting the skin from the adverse effects of the environment. It makes it velvety soft and smooth, fully hydrated and toned. It restores the natural radiance of the skin, has an antioxidant effect and neutralizes harmful free radicals.

Coconut oil – suitable for maintaining healthy and normal skin. It is known for its strongly pronounced anti-wrinkle effect, hydrates the skin and does not clog the pores. The lauric acid contained in its composition has a pronounced antiseptic effect. It has a sun protection factor of 2 to 5.

Shea butter - the most nourishing oil. It stimulates collagen production and combats skin ageing and sagging. Rich in vitamins A, E and F.

Jojoba oil – suitable for the prevention of wrinkles around the eyes. It nourishes and regenerates. It supports the synthesis of skin collagen.

Beeswax – a natural organic product, it hydrates the skin in depth, participates in the processes of cellular regeneration, and protects the skin from external irritants by forming a protective film. It gives the skin a smooth and delicate appearance.

Extra virgin olive oil – contains vitamins A, D, E and polyphenols, which are natural antioxidants. It prevents cellular ageing, softens and nourishes.

The skin of modern people is constantly attacked by various chemical and physical agents, as well as by adverse environmental factors. These negative consequences lead us to turn to organic, natural, genuine raw materials and products.
