Прием under a scheme for combating pests in permanent crops

Between 4 and 18 November, applications for support under the Scheme “Aid for compensating the costs of farmers related to the implementation of measures under the National Programme for the Control of Pests in Permanent Crops during the Winter Period” shall be submitted to the regional directorates of the State Fund Agriculture.

The application period under the Scheme “Aid for compensating the costs of farmers related to the implementation of measures under the National Programme for the Control of Pests in Permanent Crops during the Winter Period” starts on 4 November 2016 and will continue until 10 November.

On 30 November the reporting of the activities carried out in connection with the autumn spraying will be completed, and 19 December 2016 has been announced as the date for the conclusion of contracts and the disbursement of funds under the state aid.

The aid is provided to compensate part of the costs of farmers growing the following permanent crops: pome and stone fruit species, strawberries and raspberries, for the purchase of plant protection products and products for accelerating the processes of leaf decay, which are used for the control and eradication of pests that are covered by the Programme in permanent crops during the winter period, or for the so-called “winter spraying”.

We would like to remind that at its meeting the Management Board (MB) of the State Fund Agriculture (SFA) approved an additional financial resource of 1 million leva for the autumn stage of the Scheme, and for this period the Scheme supports costs of up to 100 leva per hectare (VAT included).
