New technologies and intensive cultivation schemes for stone fruit species

On 5 March 2019, in the town of Sliven, a joint information meeting – seminar with demonstration will be held by NAAS (TOO-Sliven) and the Agricultural University – Plovdiv on the topic: “New technologies and intensive schemes for growing stone fruit species”.

At the seminar Prof. Dr. Valentin Lichev, Agricultural University – Plovdiv, will present to the participants the possibilities for efficient cultivation of fruit crops in Bulgaria, as well as the pruning of stone fruit species in intensive orchards.

Prof. Dr. Valentin Lichev will carry out a practical demonstration of pruning for training and fruiting of trees of stone fruit species.

The experts from TOO (Sliven) at NAAS will present the opportunities for support to farmers under the measures of the RDP 2014–2020.

From 13:15 to 14:00 a practical demonstration will be held on pruning for training and fruiting of trees of stone fruit species.

The meeting will be held from 9:45 to 14:00 in the town of Sliven, Rechitsa quarter, in the hall of the Cultural and Educational Society of the Karakachans.
