Production of fruit planting material and budding with a dormant bud

On 28 August 2018, in the village of Khan Krum, Shumen region, a joint information meeting-seminar with a demonstration will be held by NAAS (Territorial Regional Office (TRO) Shumen) and ASA (Experimental Station for Agriculture – Khan Krum) on the topic "Production of fruit planting material. Budding with a dormant bud".
At the seminar, Assoc. Prof. Maya Mutafchieva, PhD, Experimental Station for Agriculture – Khan Krum, will acquaint the attendees with the production of fruit planting material, the methods of grafting, and will also give a demonstration of the practical application of budding with a dormant bud.
Experts from the TRO of NAAS in the town of Shumen will present the opportunities for support to agricultural holdings in the „Fruit Growing“ sector under the measures of the Rural Development Programme 2014–2020.
The seminar will be held in the village of Khan Krum, Shumen region, 1A “Preslav“ Street, in the building of the Experimental Station for Agriculture – Khan Krum.
