In mid-March, the agrometeorological conditions will be determined by above-normal temperatures. The forecasted warmer-than-seasonal weather at the end of the first and the beginning of the second ten-day period of March will activate the vegetation of the autumn-sown crops and the perennial plantations. During the period, in winter cereal crops with mass tillering, an increase in the tillering coefficient will be observed. In fruit trees, different phases will occur – from bud swelling and bud break to flower bud stage and flowering in some stone fruit species (almond, apricot, peach), mainly in the southern regions of the country.

At the end of the period, a decrease in temperatures is forecast, but their average daily values will significantly exceed the biological minimum required for the vegetation of wheat, barley, and winter oilseed rape.

Conditions for conducting pre-bloom spraying in fruit orchards against a number of diseases – blossom blight (early brown rot), shot-hole disease, scab, etc. – will be present at the beginning of the period.
