Creation and cultivation of orchards

On 2 November 2017 in the village of Biser, Municipality of Harmanli, Haskovo Region, a joint information meeting-seminar of NAAS (Territorial Regional Office - Haskovo) and the Agricultural Academy (AA) - Institute of Mountain Stockbreeding and Agriculture (IMSA) will be held on the topic: “Establishment and cultivation of orchards”.

At the seminar, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Stela Dimkova, IMSA - Troyan, Dryanovo Branch, will present to the guests the main elements of the technology for growing fruit trees, as well as the marketing of the production and the effective use of the land.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Stela Dimkova will acquaint the participants in the seminar with innovative fruit species and good practices in pruning fruit trees.

Experts from the Territorial Regional Office of NAAS - Haskovo will explain to farmers the opportunities for support for agricultural producers under the measures of the Rural Development Programme RDP 2014-2020.
