Today the Agricultural Academy celebrates its traditional holiday “Gifts of Nature”, the professional day of those working in the field of agricultural science.
At an official ceremony, diplomas for honorary awards, certificates for holding the academic positions of Professor and Associate Professor, as well as certificates for approved scientific products will be conferred.
Guests will also be able to enjoy the richly arranged exhibition “Gifts of Nature”, at which each institute and experimental station within the Academy’s system will present the innovations from the past year.
The role of the Agricultural Academy for agricultural production and agricultural producers is significant, because the main part of varietal maintenance and the production of pre-basic seeds is carried out by the institutes and experimental stations of the agricultural institution.
The development of the agrarian sector is impossible without agrarian science and education. Joint work between agrarian universities, institutes, ministries and business is a guarantee of successful agriculture.
The celebration is held in the building of the Central Administration of the Agricultural Academy at 30 “Sukhodolska” Street in the city of Sofia.
