International Exhibition for Viticulture and Wi­ne­making
Wine Festival

Vinaria 2014 was held from April 2 to 5, 2014, organized by the Plovdiv International Fair, under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Bulgaria, with the assistance of the National Vine and Wine Chamber.

The International Exhibition for Viticulture and Winemaking is its 22nd edition and one of the major and significant events on the Balkan Peninsula, and in 1997 it was approved by UFI. It presents the entire panorama of the viticulture and winemaking industry – machinery and technologies for vineyard cultivation, winery products, technologies for improving beverage quality, packaging, advertising, and presentation.

Within the framework of the exhibition, several competitions are also held:

• International Wine Tastings – organizer: National Vine and Wine Chamber;
• National Wine, Brandy, and Wine Brandy Tastings – organizer: National Vine and Wine Chamber;
• National "Consumer's Choice" Competition with the assistance of the "Active Consumers" Association;
• Packaging Design Competition, jointly with the National Association for Design and Advertising;
• Fair Stand Design Competition, jointly with the National Association for Design and Advertising

Parallel to VINARIA, 2 more specialized exhibitions are held:

• FOODTECH – International Exhibition for Food, Beverages, Packaging, Machinery, and Technology.
• HORECA PLOVDIV – International Exhibition for Hotel, Restaurant, Catering, and Retail Equipment;
