DIVES - conquering the world and at home!

The successful story of DIVES wines began last year when at the world wine competition Concours Mondial de Bruxelles the DIVES rosé, vintage 2012, won a Gold Medal!

At the beginning of the year, the DIVES Merlot impressed the professional jury, composed of 100 renowned sommeliers, at the well-known wine exhibition Vinalies Internationales in Paris, held from March 1st to 5th, 2014. The Bulgarian brand DIVES was awarded a Silver Medal in the category of red dry wines. The variety is Merlot, special selection, vintage 2012. It is grown in the own vineyards of the wine company DIVES Estate in the Pomorie region. It is aged in special French oak barrels for this purpose.

Merlot Barrique - special selection, vintage 2012, is distinguished by a wonderful dark red color, with aromas of ripe cherry and blueberries, mixed with chocolate, roasted coffee, and tobacco. The body is elegant with a delicate taste, good density with soft tannins and a nice long finish with aging potential.

The newest distinction for this aromatic wine with a delicate aftertaste is already a fact; on April 3rd at Vinaria 2014 in Plovdiv, Merlot Barrique Special selection, 2012, produced by "Dives Estate" Ltd. received a gold medal and a grand honorary diploma!
