On 7 September issue 8-9/2017 of the journal „Plant Protection“ was published. The topic of the issue is leaf-mining insects – destroyers of the plants’ „laboratory“. In this issue we will introduce you to leaf-mining moths in fruit crops, the potato tuber moth in tobacco, as well as bark beetles and wood-boring insects in apple. In the Diseases section we will focus on non-infectious diseases in fruit crops. Integrated plant protection will also be covered with an interesting article by V. Kharizanova on the topic: „The role of sex pheromones in integrated plant protection“.

In our September issue you can also learn more about pheromone traps against the tomato leafminer and pests in essential oil and medicinal crops.
