It is planned that sub-measure 6.1. „Start-up aid for young farmers“ under measure 6 „Development of farms and enterprises“ of the Rural Development Programme (RDP) 2014-2020 will be launched at the end of August 2017, with the application period set to be five weeks. At least 10 days before the start of the application period, the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forestry shall issue an order determining the start and end dates for the submission of applications for support. In the indicative timetable for the submission of applications under the Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 for 2017, the conditions and deadlines for applying under the sub-measure are indicated, but changes to the timetable are not excluded. Until the publication of the amendments to the ordinance in the State Gazette, some crops may be excluded or other crops may be included.

For permanent crops there are additional restrictions, as the period for the establishment of permanent crops is from 1 November to 14 April of the financial year in accordance with the technologies for establishment and cultivation of permanent crops.
