Национално обсъждане на ОСП след 2020

Following the first national meeting “CAP after 2020 – Bulgaria’s Choice“ held in Plovdiv, a questionnaire was approved for public consultation on the future of agriculture and rural development. All those concerned with the issues of European and Bulgarian agriculture may, until 7 July, express their opinion by responding to the questionnaire created by the organizers of the debates on the future of the CAP after 2020 – the Institute for Agrostrategies and Innovation and InteliAgro.

The formation of a national vision for the new Common Agricultural Policy after 2020 is expected to be completed in the coming months, before Bulgaria’s official Presidency of the Council of the EU, which starts at the beginning of next year. Public consultations on important and significant topics, similar to the questionnaire created by the European Commission, not only provide an opportunity to debate specific problems among farmers, but also initiate joint solutions and dialogue between agricultural institutions and agricultural producers.

Now is the time when the national interests of the individual sectors in agriculture have the opportunity to delegate their position and to build a unified agricultural policy in the country. Therefore, until 7 July, those wishing to express their opinion and position are invited to do so through the electronic questionnaire, prepared by the organizers of the debate on the CAP after 2020 – the Institute for Agrostrategies and Innovation and InteliAgro.

The questions are divided into 5 areas:

1. Structure of the CAP after 2020.

2. First Pillar (Direct Payments).

3. Second Pillar (Rural Development).

4. Market measures.

5. Open questions and simplification.

The questions are selected to cover as fully as possible the main areas of the CAP in the EU. It is not mandatory to answer every question. Respondents may choose to give their opinion only on those questions which interest them or on which they feel sufficiently confident to express their opinion.

On 21 September 2017 a second debate will be held in Sofia, at which the results of the survey will be presented.
