International Agricultural Exhibition "AGRA 2014" 4-8.03.2014

The 2014 edition of the International Agricultural Exhibition "AGRA 2014" was officially opened on March 4 by the Minister of Agriculture Dimitar Grekov. "AGRA" has been held since 1992, in partnership with the Agricultural Academy at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, and is currently the largest agribusiness forum in Southeastern Europe. This year, 69 new products for the agricultural sector will be presented, which meet the high market requirements and environmental standards and are oriented towards larger-scale investment thinking.

Among the exhibitors are established and well-known names. But there are also producers, still unknown to the wider consumer, who come with new ideas, visions and products. The event provides an opportunity for many Bulgarian business representatives to compare their achievements with those of their colleagues from other countries, to showcase their best products and to exchange ideas, experience, visions and to create new and useful business contacts.

For the third consecutive year, within the framework of AGRA, the Specialized Exhibition for Organic Crop and Livestock Farming "BioAgra" is organized, in partnership with the AVALON Foundation – Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Within AGRA, the only "Innovation Competition" in the field of agriculture in Bulgaria is also held, in which 62 innovative foreign and Bulgarian products participated in 2013.
