Училищни схеми за плодове, зеленчуци и мляко

The application templates for the School Schemes for the delivery of fruit, vegetables, milk and dairy products for the new 2017/2018 school year are ready. Application documents are accepted at the regional offices of the State Fund “Agriculture”.

Officially, applications for the new 2017/2018 school year will be accepted from 15 May to 15 June. The rules of the adopted draft for amendment and supplement of the Ordinance on the conditions and procedure for the implementation of schemes for the provision of fruit and vegetables and of milk and dairy products in educational establishments – the “School Fruit” scheme and the “School Milk” scheme will apply to these applications. The State Fund “Agriculture” is prepared to comply with the new changes and to open the application procedure after their promulgation in the State Gazette. With the amendments, the number of deliveries under the “School Fruit” scheme will increase from 40 to 45 deliveries per year for all applicants who have submitted documents under the new procedure. For those who wish to submit application documents from 2 May, the old rules for 40 deliveries will apply.

The right to apply for deliveries of fruit, vegetables and milk to kindergartens and schools in the country is granted to educational establishments, producers of fruit and vegetables, of milk and dairy products, organisations and producer groups of fruit and vegetables, sole traders, commercial companies and cooperatives, as well as municipalities – with the educational establishments located on their territory.

Educational establishments may participate in each of the schemes independently or by choosing a single applicant entitled to apply for deliveries. If the educational establishment does not wish to participate independently, it must select an applicant on the basis of three offers for the delivery of products under the respective scheme. An important condition is that at least one of the offers must be from a producer.
