Main advantages and disadvantages of grafting in Cucurbitaceae crops

On 27 April, an information meeting on the topic “Main advantages and disadvantages of grafting” will be held in the town of Lyubimets, organized by the NAAS (Territorial Regional Office - Haskovo) and the Agricultural University in the city of Plovdiv.
At the seminar, Assoc. Prof. Dimka Khaitova, PhD, Agricultural University - Plovdiv, will present to the attendees the essence and significance, as well as the main advantages and disadvantages of grafting.
Assoc. Prof. Dimka Khaitova, PhD, will also acquaint the guests with the main methods and techniques of grafting, as well as with the rootstocks used for grafting crops from the Cucurbitaceae family.
Experts from the Territorial Regional Office of NAAS - Haskovo will explain to farmers the opportunities for support for agricultural producers under the measures of the RDP 2014-2020.
