On 07 March 2017 in the town of Pernik a joint information meeting-seminar will be held by NAAS (Territorial Regional Office – Pernik), the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency (BFSA) – Regional Directorate for Food Safety (RDFS) – Pernik and the Association of Plant Protection Industry Bulgaria (APPIB) on the topic: “New outbreaks of ring rot in potatoes in the region. Counterfeit pesticides and illegal trade in plant protection products”
At the seminar, Ms. Neli Yordanova – Director General of the “Association of Plant Protection Industry Bulgaria” will present to the participants the issue of counterfeit pesticides and illegal trade in plant protection products – a significant and growing problem.
Ms. Mariana Laginova – Bulgarian Food Safety Agency will acquaint the guests with the new outbreaks of ring rot in potatoes in the region.
Experts from the Territorial Regional Office of NAAS – Pernik will explain to those present the opportunities for support to agricultural producers under the measures of the Rural Development Programme 2014–2020.
