On 1–2 December 2016, an international scientific conference on “Sustainable Development of Agriculture – a Priority of Contemporary Agrarian Science” will be held in the town of Karnobat.
The Agricultural Academy and the Institute of Agriculture – Karnobat are organizing an international scientific conference on the sustainable development of agriculture as a priority of contemporary agrarian science. The two main panels of the conference will be crop production and animal husbandry.

Section Crop Production
- Breeding and genetic research in field crops.
- Agrotechnical research for sustainable production of field crops.
Section Animal Husbandry
- Breeding and genetic research in ruminant animals.

Participation fees will be collected on the day of the conference upon registration.
The official languages of the conference are Bulgarian and English.
The scientific papers will be published in the journal “Scientific Works” of the Institute of Agriculture – Karnobat.
