A Blueberry Festival is being organized for the third time near the “Ambaritsa” Hut in the Troyan Balkan.

The festival starts this evening (29 July) and will continue until Sunday evening (31 July). It is the only high-mountain blueberry celebration of its kind in the “Central Balkan” National Park. The event is held on a voluntary basis and its aim is both to promote the sweet forest fruits and to provide financial support for the Ambaritsa Hut.

In addition to wild blueberries, the organizers have planned many games, workshops, music, preparation of the traditional Ambaritsa fritters with the most delicious wild blueberry jam, and great entertainment.
