The Christmas Farmers' Market is taking place today, Sunday, December 20th, in Sofia from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Oborishte Street between Vasil Levski Blvd. and the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. As with most established traditional farmers' markets, you will find a true palette of seasonal fruits, vegetables, several types of sourdough bread, herbs, sweets, pepper relishes, and a variety of dairy products. Vendors from the markets at Rimskata Stena, Mladost 1, Ivan Vazov, and Borovo will be participating.
The Christmas spirit is complemented by an art zone for handmade gifts, a culinary corner with tasty treats, and a number of pleasant surprises.
The market is held on the initiative of Sofia Municipality and "Pazari Yug" EAD, who invited several organizations working towards the development of farmers' markets in the country:

Hrankoop Sofia, who organize the farmers' markets at Ivan Vazov, Rimskata Stena, and Mladost 1.

The Bioselena Foundation for Organic Farming and the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds, who organize the Borovo farmers' market – every Saturday.

The Bulgarian Association of Bioproducts and the Association for Organic Beekeeping.

The National Association of Small Family Farms and Processors.
