At DiVino.Taste 2015, held for the fifth consecutive year, interest from wine enthusiasts continued to grow
One of the largest wine events in Bulgaria took place from November 20 to 22, 2015, in Hall 3 of the National Palace of Culture (NDK), Sofia. Over 450 wines were available for tasting by visitors, and 65 wineries from across the country showcased their skills in creating quality Bulgarian wine. Over three days, the DiVino.Taste exhibition gathered nearly 6,000 people, a record number compared to previous editions of the wine forum. Some wineries were presented for the first time - Via Verde, Neragora, Seven Generations, and Staro Oryahovo Winery. This year, the organizers prepared a special mobile application for the exhibition. This allowed every visitor to rate the tasted wines on the spot and add tasting notes. The system is extremely simplified and works on a point scale from 1 to 10, rating color, nose, taste, and overall impression created by the specific wine. The application was also very useful for quickly finding exhibitors according to the wine region they are located in.
DiVino.Taste
is an exhibition of Bulgarian wine producers, whose goal is to promote the production of local wine. It is also a place where restaurateurs, distributors, and passionate enthusiasts can meet over "a glass of wine." The forum's program always includes master classes, seminars, lectures, tastings, and presentations from the world of wine.
The next, 6th edition of DiVino.Taste will be held from November 18 to 20, 2016! We are looking forward to it!
