Interest in Bulgarian wine has been growing in recent years, especially since our country was recently chosen to host the international wine competition Concours Mondial de Bruxelles. "Until the competition is held next spring, a series of events will put Bulgaria on the world wine map," hope Probebegex, who are also the official partner of Concours Mondial de Bruxelles in Bulgaria. The 23rd edition of this independent wine competition, which has an exceptional reputation among industry professionals, will be held in Plovdiv from April 28 to May 1, 2016. At it, over 320 professional judges from 40 nationalities will taste and evaluate over 9000 wines and alcoholic beverages from 55 countries.

According to the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV) in its latest report, world wine production increased by 2% in 2015, and Bulgaria proudly ranks 20th in the world with 1.5 million hectoliters. Thus, our country is returning to production levels adequate to its potential.
