In this context, FMC presents Akudo® - a NEW innovative microbial biostimulant that lays the foundation for healthy, vital, and resilient plants from the earliest stages of their development.

In 2020, Akudo® received the prestigious award - Best NEW biological product in the biostimulant category at the Crop Science Forum & Awards.
The award was given due to its innovative mechanism of action, the proven stimulation of the root system, increased yields, and plant resistance to stress factors - qualities that clearly distinguish Akudo® as a new generation biological product.

Akudo® contains live spores of the bacterium Bacillus paralicheniformis (strain RTI184), which activate quickly after application. In contact with growing roots, the bacteria form a protective biofilm and create a favorable environment for crop development.
