Good practices for growing wine variety "Gamza"

On September 26, 2025 (Friday), a seminar will be held in Vidin on the topic: “Good practices for cultivation and increasing production  from grape varieties traditional for Northwestern Bulgaria  with an emphasis on the “Gamza” variety.”

During the seminar, participants will get acquainted with good practices in vineyard cultivation and the implementation of measures to increase the quantity and quality of production from grape varieties traditional for Northwestern Bulgaria.

Emphasis will be placed on the “Gamza” variety, but also on the “Cabernet” and “Merlot” varieties. Attention will also be paid to the effects of climate change on vines.

Attendees will also be introduced to the opportunities for supporting farmers who grow vineyards through interventions from the Strategic Plan for Agricultural and Rural Development (SPARD) 2023-2027.
