Dobroudja Agricultural Institute launches a series of trainings for farmers in September

The Dobrudzha Agricultural Institute in General Toshevo is organizing the latest series of one-day free training courses for farmers in September. They will be held in the experimental fields of the research center in the land of the village of Petleshkovо and in the Laboratory Complex in Dobrich. Farmers will be organized in groups of 20 people, with the first training scheduled for 9 September. The following dates are 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 23 and 24 September 2025.
The lecturers of the training are experts from the Dobrudzha Agricultural Institute and professors from the Technical University of Varna.
The topics of the one-day seminars concern good agricultural practices in the production of cereal, grain legume crops and sunflower in a risky climatic environment. Current topics from good practices that are part of the one-day trainings include the application of biotechnologies and mechanization in crop cultivation.
The demonstrations on 9 and 12 September will focus on good agricultural practices – mechanization of organic and conventional production and varietal agrotechnology of cereal crops.
On 15 and 23 September farmers will become acquainted with biotechnological methods and innovative plant nutrition. The demonstrations from 16 to 19 September are focused on innovations in soil tillage and the specific features of growing legume crops and sunflower.
The trainings held so far were focused on methods of soil tillage, the use of pesticides and laboratory analyses in agrotechnology.
