Geosemselect Open Day in the greenhouses of IZK "Maritsa"

The Bulgarian breeding company Geosemselect Ltd. will showcase its new tomato varieties at an Open Day at IZK “Maritsa”, which will be held on July 4. 

Exactly 35 years ago, the company specializing in the breeding and production of hybrid tomato seeds was established. The legacy of Geosemselect Ltd. is built on the long-standing experience of Prof. Hristo Georgiev, one of the most renowned hybrid tomato breeders.

The traditions in the company are passed down through generations, and today the company is led by Prof. Georgiev's grandson - Nikolay Georgiev, who, in addition to continuing to produce direct varieties created by his grandfather, develops new hybrid vegetable crops that are sought after both domestically and abroad,  mainly due to their taste qualities.

Guests will be able to visit the greenhouse with new and established varieties of Geosemselect Ltd. and discuss the advantages of Bulgarian breeding.

The highlight of the Open Day  will be Sandero F1 – a medium-early indeterminate  hybrid with excellent taste, which can be grown in greenhouses and open fields. Its fruits are large, smooth, with a delicate skin and a pleasant pink color, and its shape is heart-shaped to slightly elongated.

The invitation for Geosemselect Ltd.'s open day is extended to everyone.
