Demonstration of resilient tomato varieties and technologies for precision agriculture at the XXI Eucarpia Meeting of the Tomato Working Group

On 12 June 2025, the participants in the XXI Eucarpia Meeting of the Tomato Working Group will see the planned demonstration of resistant varieties and precision agriculture technologies at the Maritsa Vegetable Crops Research Institute, reports the Agricultural Academy.

The Maritsa Vegetable Crops Research Institute (VCRI) Plovdiv at the Agricultural Academy, in cooperation with Geosemselect Ltd, is hosting the XXI Eucarpia Meeting of the Tomato Working Group, which will be held from 10 to 13 June 2025 in Plovdiv. This event will be a dynamic meeting at which experts and enthusiasts in the field of tomato genetics and breeding will gather to share knowledge, discuss progress and foster their cooperation.

Building on the success of its predecessors, the XXI meeting will be a testament to the continuous development and innovation in the field. It will include presentations, discussions and networking opportunities aimed at better understanding tomato genetics, breeding techniques, resistance to abiotic and biotic stress and sustainable production practices.
