From 24 March to 14 November 2025, producers of wine and table grapes may apply for support under the state aid scheme „Aid to compensate the costs of farmers related to the implementation of measures under the National Programme of measures for preventing the spread and control of pests in vine (genus Vitis)“. The budget of the state aid for 2025, approved by the Management Board of the State Fund Agriculture, is BGN 5,000,000. By 10 December 2025 the State Fund „Agriculture“ will pay the financial aid under the scheme.

Farmers submit an application for support using a template generated by the Integrated Administration and Control System (IACS), to the territorial units of the State Fund Agriculture, according to the permanent address of the natural person or the sole trader, or the registered office of the legal entity.

The support aims to compensate part of the expenses incurred by farmers for the purchase of plant protection products against pests in vine.
The maximum aid intensity is up to 100% of the costs for the purchase of plant protection products used for the control and limitation of the spread of pests in vine (genus Vitis), but not more than BGN 600/ha, VAT included.
Expenses for plant protection products incurred during the current year are eligible.
The eligible plant protection products used for the control and limitation of the spread of pests in vine (genus Vitis) are described in the National Programme of measures for preventing the spread and control of pests in vine (genus Vitis), published on the website of the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency, in the section „National programmes“: https://bfsa.egov.bg/wps/portal/bfsaweb/about.bfsa/administration/national.programs
The guidelines for the implementation of the state aid are published on the website of the State Fund Agriculture in the section „Support schemes and measures“, subsection „State aid“ – „Short-term support schemes“.
