Express weed control for high sunflower yields

The herbicides of FMC Agro Bulgaria – Express® 50 SG and Evorelle® Express® – provide selective protection and clean fields in the early growth stages of sunflower.

The herbicides Express® 50 SG and Evorelle® Express® are intended for selective control of broadleaf weeds in sunflower hybrids tolerant to Express® and Evorelle® Express®. It is extremely important that the herbicides are applied only on tolerant hybrids, with the list available on the FMC website. For more information, please consult the FMC sales representatives.

Express® 50 SG and Evorelle® Express® are the only herbicides registered for use in a large number of sunflower hybrids tolerant to Express® 50 SG / Evorelle® Express®.

Express® 50 SG – proven efficacy against key broadleaf weeds in sunflower

Express® 50 SG is a systemic post-emergence herbicide that provides reliable control of the most widespread and difficult-to-control broadleaf weeds in sunflower such as creeping thistle, field bindweed, pigweed, jimsonweed, fat hen, lamb’s quarters and others. Weed growth stops only a few hours after treatment, and complete weed death occurs within 15 to 25 days.

To ensure the full efficacy of the product, the adjuvant Trend® 90 must be added to the spray solution. Treatment of stressed plants is not recommended.

Evorelle® Express® – a new solution for serious challenges

Evorelle® Express® is a herbicide with combined action, intended for effective control of resistant broadleaf weeds in sunflower. Evorelle® Express® is particularly suitable under conditions where there is a spread of difficult-to-control weeds such as hemp dogbane, creeping thistle, jimsonweed, fat hen, Johnson grass and various species of lamb’s quarters. The product penetrates rapidly into weed tissue, blocking the enzyme processes associated with growth. Visible symptoms appear within ten days after treatment, and the death of susceptible species occurs within 15–25 days.

Weed control creates a favourable environment, but growth also requires balanced nutrition. FMC foliar fertilizers and biostimulants – Rhizomagic, Seamac™ OR, Nuvola™ AMIN and BO-LA™ – supply plants with the necessary nutrients, amino acids and bioactive compounds that support growth, increase tolerance and compensate for stressful conditions. Some of them, including Rhizomagic, Seamac™ OR and Nuvola™ AMIN, are included in the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency (BFSA) list of registered organic and organo-mineral fertilizers and are suitable for use under eco schemes.
