WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO KEEP RAPESEED FREE FROM DISEASES?

Diseases that attack oilseed rape, in addition to having the potential to significantly reduce yield, can also greatly diminish the quality of the production. Under certain conditions that favour a more aggressive development of diseases such as sclerotinia and dry stem rot, they can to a large extent compromise the yield potential per unit area of the plants.

The leaves of the plants are the main organ responsible for photosynthetic activity. Damage to plant tissue to varying degrees disrupts optimal photosynthetic activity. The increase and maintenance of active photosynthesis after the end of the flowering period have an extremely positive effect, which favours:

  • Extension of the seed filling period in the pods
  • Increase of the yield potential
  • Increase of the oil content in the seeds

Syngenta’s solution, which provides decisive control of the main economically important diseases in oilseed rape, is Amistar Gold. In addition to its excellent fungicidal effect, Amistar Gold also has an added value expressed in providing the so-called “green effect” thanks to the built-in Amistar technology from Syngenta, which reliably contributes to increasing the yield, as confirmed by the independent agricultural source ADAS.

The “green effect” allows plants to cope better under stress conditions and also stimulates the flow of nutrients during the seed filling period in the pod, which leads to the formation of a yield with higher quality parameters.

Amistar Gold applied during flowering in oilseed rape provides complete protection against diseases, higher yield and quality!
