With the onset of autumn, preparation for the sowing of cereal crops also begins. The most suitable period is defined as the time from the end of September to the end of October. Given the observed changes in weather conditions and the increasing warming, the most recommended period appears to be around 15 – 30 October, depending on the location of the fields in the different regions of the country.

The soil must be prepared and its soil microbiome must be rich in microorganisms, which are important as they have a positive effect on its structure and fertility. Nearly 10 billion bacterial cells inhabit each gram of soil in and around plant roots, an area known as the rhizosphere.

In the product Atlanticell® Trichomix of the Spanish leader Atlantica Agricola you can find fungi of the genera Rhizoglomus and Funneliformis, endophytic fungal spores of the genus Trichoderma (Trichoderma harzianum and Trichoderma viride) and seaweed extract (Ascophyllum nodosum). This is a powerful biostimulant that provides the plants with important advantages such as increased specific root surface area, production of symbiotic metabolites that enhance germination and crop vigor. It strengthens, especially in cereal crops, tolerance to abiotic stress at the different stages of their development.

The presence of mycorrhizal fungi in Atlanticell® Trichomix contributes to increasing the absorbing surface in the root zone, improving the utilization of soil water and mineral nutrients, while at the same time enhancing tolerance to water and salt stress.

Atlanticell® Trichomix also contains seaweed extract, which promotes the synthesis of compounds by the plant and supports cell division and osmotic regulation.

Mode of action

Improves the quality of the soil microbiome.

Improves germination and establishment of crops.

Increases tolerance to abiotic stress (salt and water).

Increases the root surface area, resulting in stronger plants.

Rapid establishment and colonization of the soil/root.

Induces the processes of cell division at root level, thanks to the Ascophyllum nodosum extract.
