The new Programme for Rural Development 2014/2020

The current year 2014 will likely be a zero year for producers, because at this moment budgets under the measures have still not been determined. The measures and sub-measures in the programme themselves have also not yet been finally formulated. A final presentation of the new programming period is expected at the end of January 2014, with the possibility of extension until June 2014, according to the Minister of Agriculture and Food Prof. Dimitar Grekov. A number of meetings will be held with various branch organizations not only in Bulgaria, but also in the European Union, in order to build a common political vision for the upcoming programming period. For the moment, even the application process under the RDP has not started, since it has not yet been approved. Hopes remain for the second half of the year after June 2014. prsr.government.bg/
