Third International Lavender Festival

In June, the lands around Chirpan Municipality are tinged in purple and an enchanting scent of lavender spreads everywhere. The International Lavender Festival in Chirpan Municipality is being held for the third time from 21 to 23 June 2024.

The International Lavender Festival in Chirpan Municipality is a celebration of the arts and creativity, of food and wine, of family and community – it is a celebration of life!

The Lavender Festival is held during the magical days around Enyovden – from 21 to 23 June 2024 at three different locations in the region – Chirpan, the village of Sredno Gradishte and the village of Spasovo.

The International Lavender Festival in Chirpan Municipality is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Culture and was opened by Ivaylo Kracholov, Mayor of Chirpan Municipality.

Undoubtedly, with its rich cultural and historical heritage and its traditions in festival tourism, Chirpan is establishing itself as one of the places on the map of Bulgaria which, thanks to its magnificent lavender fields, attracts thousands of people every year, stated the Deputy Minister of Tourism Pavlin Petrov at the opening of the festival.

Delegations from Italy, Armenia and India are guests of the festival.
