Flower Growing – Past and Future

On the occasion of Palm Sunday on 26 April (Friday), a seminar on the topic: “Floriculture – Past and Future” will be held in Sofia. The organizers of the seminar are the Institute of Ornamental and Medicinal Plants – Sofia (IOMP) at the Agricultural Academy and the Federation of Independent Trade Unions in Agriculture (FITUA).

The seminar will present the achievements of floricultural science at IOMP-Sofia, an overview of the history of floriculture, annual and perennial flowers, as well as practical advice and a demonstration on rooting plant parts.
