Demo day and training on vine plant protection practices

In the Training and Experimental Base of the Agricultural University – Plovdiv in the village of Brestnik, on 17 April 2024 from 10:30 a.m., a training on plant protection viticultural practices will be held.

Assoc. Prof. Boyan Stalev from the Department of Viticulture and Fruit Growing at the Agricultural University – Plovdiv will provide knowledge on:

- Determining the presence of overwintering forms in grapevine with regard to excoriose and powdery mildew;

- Necessary measures to limit the spread of eriophyid mite in grapevine;

- Familiarization with the operation of the electronic platform for announcing plant protection, disinfection and disinsection activities on the BFSA website;

- Filling in plant protection logbooks.

Software engineer Blagoy Anastasov from Bevine will conduct a demonstration of viticulture technological software, in the context of the viticultural operations that need to be carried out in wine and table grape vineyards during the first phase of the vegetation period.
