The Ministry of Agriculture and Food, following consultations with the country's industry organizations and a green light from the European Commission, has extended the deadline for submitting applications for the 2015 Campaign until May 29 without penalties.

The decision of the MAF affects all schemes for direct payments and transitional national aid, as well as the measures under the Rural Development Programs (RDP 2007-2013 and RDP 2014-2020), for which applications are made with the single aid application submitted according to the procedure of Ordinance No. 5 of February 27, 2009. The deadlines for making revisions to already submitted applications are also extended, including the addition of schemes, measures, parcels, or animals, which can be done until June 15, 2015. After May 29 until June 23 inclusive, farmers can submit applications, but with a penalty of 1% for each overdue working day.
