APPLICATION IN RAPESEED

This combination is reliable and effective in both wheat and rapeseed.

The Medi+R team reminds farmers how important the application of AMALGEROL ESSENCE and nitrogen-fixing bacteria by Medi+R is at the first treatment of rapeseed in spring:
- Normal pre-sowing fertilization rate; spring top-dressing aims at reaching 10–12 kg active nitrogen substance per decare;
- 1st treatment at stem elongation in spring: Fungicide + AMALGEROL ESSENCE 200 ml/da + nitrogen-fixing bacteria by Medi+R 5 g/da;
- 2nd treatment at 30% flowering: Fungicide + AMALGEROL ESSENCE 200 ml/da.
Medi+R’s technology not only reduces the amount of nitrogen fertilizers in rapeseed, but also ensures higher and better-quality yields. As a result of the treatment, plants develop a denser root system, become healthier and stronger, have more branches, which ensures higher yields, and the increased oil content by 2–3% leads to higher product quality.
In the next photo, two rapeseed fields from April 2023 are compared, clearly demonstrating the result of the applied Medi+R technology. In the treated plants we observe uniform plant development, plants standing densely next to each other with thicker stems and visibly healthy appearance. The well-developed root system has facilitated optimal uptake of nutrients required for proper plant development. Furthermore, there is a significantly larger leaf mass with an oily green colour and more lateral branches.

THE TECHNOLOGY SAVES UP TO 1/3 KG NITROGEN ACTIVE SUBSTANCE PER DECARE
SHARED PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE: WHEAT
Farmer Plamen Vladimirov from Inovo, Vidin region, shares his experience with the products AMALGEROL ESSENCE and nitrogen-fixing bacteria by Medi+R in wheat. He compares two variants:
- Variant 1: Control – standard technology with nitrogen fertilization at 20 kg active nitrogen per decare;
- Variant 2:
- Nitrogen fertilization at 12 kg active nitrogen per decare;
- 1st treatment at the end of tillering and beginning of stem elongation: Herbicide + AMALGEROL ESSENCE 200 ml/da + nitrogen-fixing bacteria by Medi+R 5 g/da;
- 2nd treatment at the end of flowering: Fungicide + AMALGEROL ESSENCE 200 ml/da.
The trials were carried out on an area of 260 decares, with both fields treated at the same time with herbicide and fungicide, and the difference being the reduced nitrogen fertilization rate and the application of Medi+R technology. The control showed an average yield of 660 kg/da, while in variant 2 the average yield was 700 kg/da.

Soil structure
Medi+R’s technology also brings benefits in terms of structuring the soil. Practical experience from the vineyards of DiVes Winery in the Pomorie region proves the benefits of long-term use – after 6 consecutive years of treatments, the penetrometer penetrates about 80 cm into the soil. In the neighbouring block, which has not been treated with AMALGEROL ESSENCE and nitrogen-fixing bacteria, the depth reached by the soil density tester is about 30 cm.

Studies conducted in Bulgaria, Hungary and Germany indicate that after three years of using the products on the same field, fuel consumption for each soil cultivation operation carried out on the field decreases by up to 300–400 ml/da, which in itself leads to a significant reduction in costs for farmers.
