Field Day 2023

For a second consecutive year, from 25 to 27 July, farmers, scientists, companies and educational institutions in our country will meet in Dobrudzha at the second edition of the Field Day. The organizer and host of the large-scale agricultural forum is the Dobrudzha Union of Grain Producers.

The three-day celebration is held after the end of the harvest, when farmers have the opportunity to enjoy the fruits of their labor and to delight in shared moments with colleagues and friends.

The exhibition will feature manufacturers and importers of machinery, seeds, fertilizers and plant protection products. More than 50 companies will take part; there will be field demonstrations of machinery and monitoring of the vegetative development and condition of the crops.

The organizers have taken care to provide visitors not only with practical information, but also with plenty of entertainment, games and Bulgarian music. A special program has also been prepared for children, in which, through games, they will be introduced to the importance of agricultural labor.

“What we will certainly do and continue is to maintain children’s interest in flour, grain and bread. This is something we highly value. They are our future and our strength; we must pass on to them the love for the land,” believes Radostina Zhekova, Chair of the Dobrudzha Union of Grain Producers.

“Field Day“ opens its doors at 14:00 on 25 July, and the opening ceremony starts at 17:00. Official guests of the event will be Iliya Prodanov – Chair of the National Association of Grain Producers, Tanya Georgieva – Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food, Yordan Yordanov – Mayor of the city of Dobrich, Yordanka Kostadinova – Regional Governor of the city of Dobrich, Kostadin Kostadinov – Chair of the Bulgarian Agrarian Chamber.

There will be a change in the format – the three-day celebration will start every day at 14:00 and will continue until 22:00. The location has also been changed – the second edition will be held in the fields of „EL-SI“ Ltd near Dobrich.
