New gold in the collection of winery “DiVes Estate” from Vinaria ‘2023

Winery “DiVes Estate” performed more than successfully at the International Exhibition for Viticulture and Winemaking Vinaria ‘2023 in the city of Plovdiv. Two of its wines were ranked as the best and won gold medals.

The warm red colour and captivating aroma of forest fruits and black cherry brought the winery a gold medal for Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot Barrique Grand Reserve, vintage 2019.

The highly qualified jury of Vinaria also did not miss the opportunity to give its excellent evaluation, awarding a gold medal to Sweet Wine Muscat, vintage 2018, which is distinguished not only by its fine honey notes with nuances of dried figs, raisins and dates, but also by its noble sweetness.

This is yet another recognition that the winery from the historic Simeonova Mogila hill near Pomorie receives for the high quality of its wines on both the Bulgarian and the international market. The wines under the trademark „DiVes” are known for an emblematic distinction – DiVes Merlot Barrique Special Selection, vintage 2012 is the holder of the first Gold Medal for Bulgaria from the largest and most prestigious wine competition in the world, the „Decanter World Wine Awards”.

After a winter break, Winery „DiVes Estate” will open its doors on 5 May 2023 for all wine enthusiasts who wish to try for the first time or to once again experience the pleasure of the „Special Wine and Historical Tour”. The concept of this experience combines the captivating history of the Simeonova Mogila area, related to the Battle of the Achelous River, key facts about the grape harvest and wine production, with the tasting of 5 exquisite wines paired with 5 types of Bulgarian foods. The wine tours take place every day until 30 September.

The winery has gained popularity over the past two years also with the unforgettable offer „Aroma Tasting of 5 Varieties of High-Quality Bulgarian Lavender“, located on terraces around the winery with a captivating view of the Black Sea.

Every day from 5 June to 31 July, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy the vivid colours and incredible aroma of the fully blossomed lavender. The emotional experience has a calming effect on the mind and heart, leaving people free from stress or unpleasant thoughts and filled with energy.

The aroma tastings continue from 1 August to 30 September, when the plants will be partially in bloom, but tourists will be able to touch them and enjoy the aroma of the different varieties using a special technique. After each aroma experience, guests leave not only with a small bag of dried lavender flowers, but also with a wealth of new and useful information about the delicate plant and the benefits of using lavender oil.
