Пicked vegetable crop seedlings – MRRI "Maritsa"

The Maritsa Vegetable Crops Research Institute (VCRI) – Plovdiv of the Agricultural Academy is accepting orders for the production season 2023 for pricked-out seedlings (in trays) of seven different crops.

Producers can choose from the traditional high-yielding tomato varieties of the scientific unit – „Rozovo sarce” (Pink Heart), „Aleno sarce” (Scarlet Heart), „Ideal”. In addition, the Institute also offers the new varieties „Rozovo siyanie” (Pink Glow) with pink fruits and „Dara” – with red fruits.

VCRI „Maritsa“ also offers the production of tomato seedlings of the cherry type, variety „VCRI Alya”, and two new varieties „Mini mis” – a new pink cherry variety, and „Salzitsa” – a new red cherry variety.

For pepper producers, seedling production is offered from three varieties – „Ivaylovska kapiya”, „Sivriya 600” and „Stryama”.

Among the hot pepper varieties, seedlings of „Dzhulyunska shipka 1021” and the new variety „Ruevit” are planned.

Seedlings of cucumbers of the variety „Gergana”, zucchini of the varieties „Bistra” and „Gornooryahovska“, as well as melons of the variety „Pobeditel” (Winner) are the other options for high-yielding, high-quality and tasty vegetables that will be offered by VCRI „Maritsa“.

The seedlings will be ready for collection in the period from the end of April to 15 May 2023. Their price including VAT will be BGN 0.80 per plant.
