Heating systems in greenhouses and irrigation of greenhouse vegetables

On 30 September 2022 (Friday) from 10:00 a.m. an online seminar will be held on the topic: "Heating systems in greenhouses. Irrigation of greenhouse vegetables".

During the online seminar, the participants will become acquainted with the types of heating systems in greenhouses, with the requirements and the main technological indicators, they will learn what the term „cogeneration“ means and which factors influence heat loss. The main methods for irrigation of greenhouse vegetables and the methods for regulating the soil water regime in the greenhouse will be presented.

During the second part of the seminar, the participants will learn about the expected conditions for support under sub-measure 6.1 „Start-up aid for young farmers“ of the Rural Development Programme (RDP) 2014-2020.

The organizers of the event are the National Agricultural Advisory Service (Territorial District Office (TDO) - Blagoevgrad) and the Maritsa Vegetable Crops Research Institute, Plovdiv, at the Agricultural Academy, Sofia. The lecturer is Chief Assistant Boyan Arnaudov – Maritsa Vegetable Crops Research Institute, Plovdiv, at the Agricultural Academy.
